All large assignments awarded to SAMS are directed and guided by Mr. Gautam Nath, Managing Director & CEO.


Management Consultancy Division of SAMS is directly overseen by Mr. Sanjay Rastogi, Associate Director (MCS) and Ms. Ritu Khushu, Associate Director (SCM). Practice Leaders for the Division include Mr. Manoj Kumar, Sr. Project Manager, Mr. Sandeep Jain, Project Manager and Mr. Ani Jacob Mathews, Project Manager.

Mr. Gautam Nath, Managing Director & CEO

At the helm of Strategic Alliance Management Services, is Mr. Gautam Nath, the founder of the company. Mr. Nath leadership and direction has positioned SAMS amongst the leading service provider to Health & Developmental Sector in the Country. He is a dynamic team builder and maintains the same drive, enthusiasm and passion for his clients and colleagues since formation of SAMS, no doubt fuelled by his strongest attribute he really cares!. Under his expert guidance, supervision large consultancy projects have very successfully been completed.

Mr. Gautam Nath, is an FCA, fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, with more than 30 years of general management experience spanning not for profits, as well as corporate clients. Mr. Nath started his career as Manager with A.F. Ferguson & Co. and supervised several consultancy projects in Utility Sector in India and various Asian & Gulf countries. He was instrumental in SAMS affiliation with The Rummler - Brache Group, USA, a boutique business process improvement and management consultancy from 1997 through 2000.

Mr. Nath has led SAMS since 1990 and has largely been focused on health & development sector practice. Areas of specialization include Organization Development, Recruitment & Executive Selection, Pay-rolling Services and Supply Chain & Inventory Management Services, Change Management, Business Process Improvement & Other Management Consultancy Services.

Mr. Sanjay Rastogi, Associate Director (MCS)

Mr. Sanjay Rastogi is supervising the Management Consultancy Services practice of SAMS involving SCM and Training & Capacity Building projects. Mr. Rastogi has closely associated & supported SAMS engagements in National Health Programmes, Pay-rolling & Other Consultancy Projects for more than 12 years. Mr. Rastogi has gained rich experience of field conditions, systems, policies & practices being followed in respect of supply chain of Revised National Tuberculosis Programme and National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme of MoH&FW of Government of India. He is closely associated in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Manual and Training Module for both these programmes. Mr. Rastogi is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Commerce graduate from Delhi University. He is founder partner of Rastogi Narain & Co. Chartered Accountants, a Delhi based mid sized firm of accounts providing assurance, audit, taxation, corporate advisory & consultancy services. His core skills lie in understanding client's requirements and transforming them into satisfying results.

Since over 24 years, Mr. Rastogi has obtained rich experience in Assurance Services, Internal Audits, Taxation & Corporate Finance services to large industries, banks & corporate sector. He handles various issues with equal ease but his core expertise lies in Management Consultancy & Supply Chain Management Consultancy Services for INGOs/ Multilaterals, and Not for profit organizations.

Ms. Ritu Khushu, Associate Director (SCM)

Ms. Ritu Khushu is supervising the Supply Chain Management and Training & Capacity Building Projects of SAMS. She joined SAMS in November 2000 as Team Leader and since than is engaged in Supply Chain & Inventory Management services to National Health Programmes. She has become an International Expert in field of Drugs Supply Chain Management and conducted review of SCM activities in TB Programme in Nepal & East Timor, and represented Central TB Division in Workshops & Seminars in Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.

Ms. Khushu cleared Chartered Accountancy Inter Exams after her graduation in Science from Mumbai University. During early part of her career she worked with various commercial organization and prior to joining SAMS she was working as Manager Accounts with a leading Maruti Suzuki Dealer in New Delhi. She posses more than 24 years experience in Audit & Assurance services and introduced several new initiatives during her stint as Manager Accounts with Sikands Ltd. Her expertise domain now includes Supply Chain & Inventory Management, Training & Capacity Building and Management Consultancy Services to INGOs & National Health Programmes.

Mr. Manoj Kumar, Sr. Project Manager

Mr. Manoj Kumar, an MBA with PG Diploma in Materials Management is part of SAMS Core team for Management Consultancy Projects. He also holds post graduate diploma in Computer Engineering & Certificate in computing. Over last 10 years he has successfully supported SAMS teams for Supply Chain Management of Revised National Tuberculosis Programme (RNTCP) and National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme of MoH&FW of GOI. Mr. Manoj has been instrumental in developing several software based tools for Forecasting for Annual Procurement, Worksheet for Reporting Drug Requirement, Expiry Management of Drugs, and Tracking & monitoring of drug stocks across various locations.

As a facilitator, Mr. Manoj Kumar has conducted several Training Programmes & Workshops on Supply Chain Management for training of Officials & Staff engaged in drugs inventory management across the country in TB & Malaria Programmes.He has also supported SAMS in various other projects in health sector.

In early stages of his career he has worked for various Commercial organizations and a Software company and was engaged in Accounting, Finance & Material Management functions in these organizations.

Mr. Sandeep Jain, Project Manager & Team Leader

Mr. Sandeep Jain is CA and Grad ICWA, a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India, and also member of Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. During last 15 years he gained rich experience in Finance Taxation and Auditing, his experience in Financial Operations includes Accounting, Budgeting, Inventory & Materials Management , Commercial operations of Manufacturing Sector. Well versed with modern accounting systems & procedures and provisions of Companies Act, Income Tax Act, VAT and other statutory laws. Gathered experience in implementing Oracle Financials as well as other software systems.

Mr Sandeep has recently joined as Team Leader of SAMS Team for National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme (NVBDCP), his vast experience and knowledge of manufacturing & logistics companies facilitated easy understanding of Supply Chain Management activities for the programme. He has now mastered his skills and fully adapted himself for routine reviews, monitoring, supervision & training functions for NVBDCP.

Mr. Ani Jacob Mathews, Project Manager & Team Leader

Mr. Ani Jacob Mathews is currently leading the SAMS team for ongoing supply chain management activities for Revised National Tuberculosis Programme (RNTCP).

Since December 2007 he has supported SAMS in projects with inventory management of ARVs for Clinton Foundation/NACO, currently he is involved in supervision & monitoring of distribution & utilization of Second Line/MDR TB Drugs. Mr. Mathews after obtaining Diploma in Pharmacy moved on to attain Degree in Pharmacy from Bangalore University, additionally he holds diplomas in Materials Management, Export Management & International Business Management. Currently Mr. Mathews is pursuing post graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management. He is having more than 14 years of working with SAMS & Pharmacy of various hospitals & commercial organizations.
